🌾 Introduction
As the autumn breeze gently blows, the rice fields of Jiayuanhai Art Museum turn golden once again — it’s harvest season.
From October 19th to 27th，2024, we warmly invite you to step into the fields at Jiayuanhai Art Museum, listen to the whispers of the rice, and celebrate the joy of a bountiful harvest together!

Seasonal Agenda
1. Rice Knowledge
When did humans begin cultivating rice? What is the life cycle of this vital crop? What are the major rice varieties, and how do they differ from one another?
2. Rice Harvesting
After learning the basic harvesting techniques, participants will put on gloves, hold a sickle in one hand and grasp the rice stalks in the other, experiencing the most traditional method of rice harvesting by hand.
3. Rice Threshing
Once the rice is cut, they’ll get to see an old-fashioned threshing barrel in action — lifting the rice bundles high and striking them against the wooden trough to the rhythmic beat of thump, thump, thump, releasing the grains.
4. Rice Evolution Bottle
Afterwards, everyone will personally create a rice evolution bottle, capturing the process of rice transforming into polished grains, fully experiencing the amazing journey of a single rice grain.
5. Rice Sensory Bottle
The harvested straw, rice grains, and polished rice will be carefully selected and used to create a natural rice sensory bottle.
6. Service Name
Finally, everyone will create their own rice bouquet by hand — selecting their favorite rice stalks and pairing them with other natural elements to craft a one-of-a-kind arrangement.
